In Arabic Calligraphy there are mainly 3 Schools, Turkish, Iraqi, and Egyptian. We will not notice any differences in all of them in Thulith and Nashki, while req'aa and dewani there are many differences.
Most of the three schools are teaching Thulith and Nashki in the Turkish school on the famous Moh. Shawki Efendy Booklet, while Iraqi school teaching Dewai and Req'aa based on Hashim Al Baghdady teaching booklet, And on the Egyptian side Dewani is based on Mostafa Ghozlan Bay and Req"as based Abdel Aziz Refa'e or Based on Sayed Ibrahim Booklets.
